Sun Valley's Signature Food and Wine Festival |
Welcome to the 2013 Sun Valley Harvest Festival. Now in its fourth year, the Sun Valley Harvest Festival has become the signature food and wine event of the region. Focused on quality and how to incorporate it into your kitchen and lifestyle, the weekend offers attendees an opportunity to learn culinary secrets from the country's top chefs, taste agricultural wonders from Idaho and the Northwest, savor wines, beers and spirits, and learn from nationally recognized food and health experts. This year the Harvest Festival proudly welcomes celebrity dietician Ashley Koff RD, a self-described Qualitarian, as the event emcee. Also new this year are the Food Mavericks and Food Trends Panels, which will be chock-full of entrepreneurs and experts from well known national brands as well as media outlets including: Prevention Magazine, Reader's Digest, ABC News Los Angeles, and the Dr. Oz Show. Set in picturesque Sun Valley, Idaho, adventuring foodies will have the opportunity to enjoy hiking, biking and all that the beautiful fall weather offers. So whether it's a day of learning and tasting with the pros or just sipping wine and artisanal cocktails, check out all the incredible experiences that make up this year's Sun Valley Harvest Festival.
The Sun Valley Harvest Festival embraces the national movement toward sourcing and eating regional and sustainable foods. Our theme this year is quality: how to identify, select and prepare better foods to maximize your energy and achieve optimal health through the enjoyment of food, beverages, and activity. Our goal is to bring food and wine travelers to Sun Valley to experience the most beautiful time of year, enjoy delicious food, learn new food trends and techniques, taste great wines, beers, and spirits and maybe meet some fun, new, exciting people along the way. This is truly Foodie Heaven!
The perfect place for the adventurous foodie to Taste, Learn, Experience and Enjoy! We hope you will join us September 19th through 22nd to experience all that Idaho and the Northwest has to offer. |
